Chicago May 14-20 - Visiting from SF

Hello, I will be in Chicago to set-up the Green Festival at the Navy Pier from May 14-20.

I was hoping to get some suggestions of where to go, what to do, where to eat in that area...

I especially would like to be able to go out Swing Dancing or to check out Rock-a-Billy music if there is any scene...Goth is good too.
